I know that is kind of late for my first ever post but be grateful as i started blogging. This particular event took place yesterday in the afternoon during muslim boys/man usual Friday prayers. As usual we took holy water to cleanse ourselves before heading into the prayer hall. Once the Imam(someone who leads us in our prayers) starts to say the azan which is the summon to prayer, we made our way as close to the front. During the prayer, each one of us had to repeat several steps twice. During the first round everything went on smoothely but trouble soon ensued. Many of us didnt hear what the Imam said as the microphone that he was using was faulty. We actually had to say some prayer before we bow down. Many of us didn't know. A soon as the Imam said Allahuakbar(God is the Greatest) Many of us bowed down instead of saying those prayers. I was shocked as Faris who was praying beside me was still standing up. At first i thought that he was doing the wrong thing but as i closely observed the others, some of them were still standing up. As many of us were filled with shame, we tried to stand up and joined the others in the prayers. Soon we finished the prayers and pandemonium broke out as people were discussing about the situation that occured before. Eventhough we all make mistakes God is always forgiving and we must always learn from our mistakes.
